No more whiskey or hard drink
Time to take a little break
I don t like finding out who I was the night before
The next day when I wake

No more chasing countless miles
My back could really use a break
I ve had my fill of late nights and early sunrises
The next day feeling like dead weight

Maybe I m just getting older than I think
Maybe I m just lost in my mind
Maybe I m just tired of running from the quiet
Maybe I m just tired of trying

Well I used to think the road was freedom
I used to chase the endless nights
But all these white lines just begin to blur
As every town just fades from sight

So I told myself I d take it easy
But my mind had a different point of view
I tried to slow down and keep it steady
But the storm inside just grew

Maybe someday I ll be wiser than I am
Maybe I ll never understand
Maybe I m right where I really need to be
Maybe it s all a part of the plan

No more searching for the answers
I think they ve been here all along
The silence I was running from
Might be just the place where I belong
