i forgot to

Kongos

Are you always so serious?
Doesn't sunshine give you treatment?
Don't you like the changing of the seasons?

There's a new energy in the air
The kind that only comes from despair
It's a permanent stream on your phone
A forgotten episode of The Twilight Zone
A little more than the usual suspects
A little more than an English subject

A new episode is coming
Isn't that enough reason
To keep believing
In everything you're receiving
To keep believing
Tomorrow's gonna be the day you get around to cleaning
Tomorrow's gonna be the day you stop pleasing the world

In between, I forgot to
Forgot to say I love you too
And now I'm here
Now I want to
I want to say I love you too

In between, I forgot to
Forgot to say I love you too
And now I'm here
Now I want to
I want to say I love you too
I've come to say I love you too

It's another kind of tempered tuning
A revolution underneath that's brewing
Yesterday doesn't mean what it used to
And in a week no one's gonna say too soon
A controversy got sent up to space
And delivered to your living room

A new episode is coming
Isn't that enough reason
To keep believing
In everything you're receiving
To keep believing
Tomorrow's gonna be the day you get around to cleaning
Tomorrow's gonna be the day you stop pleasing the world

In between, I forgot to
Forgot to say I love you too
And now I'm here
Now I want to
I want to say I love you too

In between, I forgot to
Forgot to say I love you too
And now I'm here
Now I want to
I want to say I love you too
I've come to say I love you too
I've come to say I love you too
