i wasn t looking

Emma Bunton

People say never watch and wait
When the pressure's on you know it won't find you
Fate is shy, when you seek it hides
If you're looking left, it'll creep up on the right

So I found out for myself
That all the tales were true
It came without a warning or a clue

I wasn't looking when I found love
Yet it took me by surprise
I wasn't looking when you showed up
Now you're all I see
I wasn't looking when you took my hand
The way it should it be
I wasn't looking when I found love
And it's beautiful

Bide your time no don't stand in line
Cos the trouble is they'll never come your way
Funny how when you hunt them down
There's a drought and if you don't it rains all day

Cos no matter what you do
It'll end up finding you
And hits you like a bolt out of the blue

I wasn't looking when I found love
Yet it took me by surprise
I wasn't looking when you showed up
Now you're all I see
I wasn't looking when you took my hand
The way it should it be
I wasn't looking when I found love
And it's beautiful

So I found out for myself
That all the tales were true
It came without a warning or a clue

I wasn't looking when I found love
Yet it took me by surprise
I wasn't looking when you showed up
Now you're all I see
I wasn't looking when you took my hand
The way it should it be
I wasn't looking when I found love
And it's beautiful

I wasn't looking when I found love
Yet it took me by surprise
I wasn't looking when you showed up
Now you're all I see
I wasn't looking when you took my hand
The way it should it be
I wasn't looking when I found love
And it's beautiful
