looking for you

Kirk Franklin

Kirk:
Too all my people in the struggle
You think God?s forgotten about you
Here?s some pain medicine
Let?s go
You in your car
You at the house
On your job
Be encouraged boo
Come on

Verse 1:
Sopranos & Altos
I?ve been down so long
I?ve been hurt for so long
There were times I thought I?d never see the break of day
It was hard for me
To see Your plan for me
And I tried to believe, sure it won?t last always

Sopranos
See night after night

Altos
night after night

Tenors
night after night

Sopranos
I pray Lord

All
Don?t take your joy from me

Sopranos
And then late one night

Altos
then late one night

Sopranos
I read in Your love letter
That it?s gonna get better
Don?t you know that

Hook:
Sopranos
I?ve been looking for you

Tenors
I realize

All
-lize, nothing else could satisfy me

Sopranos
I?m so glad I found you

Tenors
Now that I?m changed

All
Changed, no one can keep me away from you

Ooh

Kirk
You?ve been so good to us
You brought us from a mighty long way
that?s why we love You
Come on

Verse 2:
Sopranos & Altos
When my enemies
Tried to come for me
And they thought that my world was coming to an end
All the while You knew
That I would make it through
I feel closer to you now
Than when I first began

Sopranos
Jesus, You are

Altos
Jesus, You are

Tenors
Jesus , You are

All
You are my sunlight after the rain

Sopranos
wherever You are

Altos
wherever You are

Sopranos
I just wanna be near you
I?m so glad I can hear you
Don?t you know that

Hook 2x
